Teen fatally shoots twin brother in face while playing with gun

According to local news outlets, a Georgia teenager died after being shot by his twin brother while playing with a gun. The incident occurred at around 3:30 a.m. on August 22, at their home in Stone Mountain, as reported by the DeKalb County Police Department. The brothers, who were both 17 years old, were playing with a gun in their bedroom when it went off, hitting one of them in the face. The injured brother was taken to a hospital where he later died from his injuries. It's unclear who the gun belonged to and authorities haven't provided further information about the incident. Although the shooting is believed to be accidental, the surviving twin may face manslaughter charges, according to reports by WGCL and WXIA. Stone Mountain is located about 15 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta.
