Georgia Deputy Police Chief Busted In Prostitution Sting With $180, Pack Of White Claw

A Georgia deputy police chief has been arrested for soliciting prostitution in Florida after being caught in an undercover sting operation, according to authorities. Jason DiPrima, the Cartersville Deputy Police Chief, was attending a polygraph training workshop in Orlando when he responded to an online escort advertisement. The advertisement was part of a week-long undercover operation by the Polk County Sheriff's Department to identify people involved in human trafficking and to arrest those who engage in prostitution. DiPrima initiated a conversation with an undercover detective a day before his arrest and later agreed to pay $120 for a half-hour of "full service." He arrived at an undisclosed location in an undercover police cruiser normally assigned to U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents, gave the detective $180 and a multi-pack of White Claw Hard Seltzer, and was then arrested. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd expressed disbelief at DiPrima's actions and noted that before the arrest, the deputy police chief had told the detective he had been conned by a prostitute the previous night. DiPrima has been placed on administrative leave by the Cartersville Police Department pending an internal investigation.
