Remembering donald trump: Booed at Ruth Bader Ginsburg's Memorial Service

Demonstrators expressed displeasure with President Trump as he paid his respects to the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg at the Supreme Court on Thursday. Trump, wearing a black mask, stood next to the flag-draped coffin in silence while protestors across the street booed him and chanted, urging him to honor Ginsburg's dying wish that her replacement not be chosen until after the election. Trump has dismissed her request, leading some to question his motives.

He is expected to announce his nominee to replace Ginsburg on Saturday, a move that White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany says follows precedent. However, McEnany acknowledged that Trump's visits are often met with protests, calling the crowd's response "appalling, but certainly to be expected when you're in the heart of the swamp."
