An Oklahoma Woman Marries Her Biological Mother

An Oklahoma Woman Marries Her Biological Mother

A woman from Oklahoma has been sentenced to prison for two years followed by eight years of probation, in addition to a fine of $1,500, and is registered as a sex offender, after pleading guilty to one count of incest. Patricia Ann Spann, 45, was married to two of her children, and her ex-wife and daughter, Misty, 26, is set to be sentenced next week. According to an affidavit filed in the case, Misty and her mother began an incestuous relationship in 2014 and were married on March 25, 2016. Patricia had lost custody of her children, who were raised by their grandmother and married her third husband, who is also her son, in 2008.

Jody Spann Jr., Patricia's son/husband, had their union annulled, citing "incest" as his reason for seeking an annulment. Patricia's son Cody has also claimed that his mother discussed the possibility of getting married.
