A man from Michigan, Rob Bliss, set out to start conversations with residents in what he called the "most racist town in America," while holding up a Black Lives Matter sign. He shared the video of his interactions on social media, and it quickly garnered thousands of views. The video, which is a little over two minutes long, shows cuts of racist language and vitriolic comments made by people as Bliss stands on public roads, facing cars and pedestrians while holding the sign.

In the video, a man driving a gold sedan can be seen holding up a middle finger at Bliss in the first 30 seconds. Later, the same man drives by again and tells Bliss to leave in ten minutes. Bliss responds by telling him to come back.

Bliss chose Harrison, a city he considers to be the most racist in America, to start conversations outside of traditionally liberal areas. He believes that the city is the most racist because of its history as the KKK headquarters and a billboard advertising a white pride radio station that still stands in the city without any protest. A clip shows the Walmart manager asking Bliss to leave the store's property after he showed the manager a statement from the corporation supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.

Bliss says he has never encountered a such racial backlash as he did in Harrison while peacefully holding the sign. While protests in support of Black Lives Matter continue across the country, many are resistant to change. Bliss believes that even something as simple as the words "white" and "pride" together can be cruel. He suggests that the people of Harrison should take down the billboard if they feel the video does not represent them and their beliefs.

The video is edited to show moments of retaliation against the term "Black Lives Matter" by residents of Harrison. However, in the last few seconds of the video, a masked person hands Bliss a piece of paper.
