Democratic State Rep. on Anime Culture

Nick Levasseur, a State Representative from New Hampshire, has issued an apology for a Facebook post in which he made a derogatory remark about Anime. The Manchester Democrat has since backtracked on his comment, stating that it was a poorly thought-out joke that he had posted on his private Facebook page.

In his statement, Levasseur expressed deep regret for his insensitive post and acknowledged that his remark had no place in either public or private discourse. He also emphasized that his comment did not represent his true opinion, either politically or personally.
